So she didn't think she had been, but you nailed the diagnosis.  So, on the plus side, no ringworm.  I thought if she was pulling them out (which kept coming up on Google) it meant that she was suffering from awful anxiety, OCD, etc.  Her pedi said no, it's more of just a distracted habit, like hair twirling.  She said that a lot of times kids don't even realize they're doing it, which seems to be the case with Wooz.  (She's generally a pretty crap liar, so I think she believed it when she said she wasn't pulling them out.)  Also, I hadn't connected the two, but she just recently broke her hair chewing habit, so it looks like that impulse was redirected into this new thing.

I think you may have a future as a holistic doctor making internet diagnoses.  There seems to be a market for that.
