White dress with white table linens?

Hello! I am wearing a white wedding dress (http://https//www.dreamersandlovers.com/product/natalie-silk-lace-wedding-dress/) and I was wondering if white table linens will do the opposite of clash, but rather, hide me and my dress? I joke, but honestly, will it look like I am an extension of the table cloth!? Will it be too much white in photos, etc? Our space is pretty industrial with exposed pipes, brick, wood, etc. I was leaning towards white tablecloths to soften the space, but now I am considering champagne color, or succumbing to the upcharge for nice, raw wood. Any thoughts are appreciated!

  • I can understand your concern, but I think you are fine.  There is no reason to spend extra money for this item...I would rather you save the money or upgrade something else like an extra app or something.

Besides, you will probably only spend like 20 minutes sitting at a table anyways...I know I wasn't sitting much and neither were most brides at the weddings I've attended.

  • YES - oh my god, do NOT do this. You'll regret it for the rest of your life.

Just kidding. No, I do not think you will blend into the table and be a floating head and arms lol! Don't incur extra cost for this. Spend that extra money on a massage, like today, so you can stop worrying about this. You'll probably get like 10 minutes to sit down and eat anyway, so you MIGHT get one or two pics at the table, but mostly, you won't even be sitting there.

    Your dress is gorgeous btw!

Oh heavens to Betsy. Unless you are going to be lying down on the tables (which, maybe you are - I don't want to assume lol), you will not be camouflaged by the tables.

In all seriousness, OP I think wedding planning can sometimes cause us to overthink things and stress over things that really don't warrant any concern. Your dress is gorgeous. No need to spend extra money on tablecloths. If you have extra cash, upgrade the bar, or have a cupcake table.

You are creating something to worry about where there is nothing to worry about. You're not going to blend in with any of the tables.

If you think the space looks too stark overall with the white table linens, put some decor on the tables (flowers, candles, whatever) that will break things up a bit.
