Need Planter advice for herb centerpieces

My wedding colors are Sage and Lavender and as such I will be growing live herbs for my centerpieces. However, my wedding is September 16, 2017 and Lavender, depending on the variety, blooms june to august. I have resigned to drying the Lavender at it's peak for vases, but I would like to have live rosemary and sage growing in planters. Ideally, I want a ring shaped planter with a hole in the center large enough to place a vase of lavender. What can I use as planters? Initially I thought bundt pans would work great but the hole is far too narrow for a vase. I'm kind of stuck on this idea because my tables are smallish and round and dinner will be served family style so I need a smaller footprint centerpiece.
