i just got married in April and I had a few guests that did not bring anything, not even a card and it really bothers me because one of the guests is my husbands sister and the other 5 were people that asked to bring their new significant others and I added them as a favor to them and they show up empty handed. I know gifts aren't required but I could only imagine the recourse if our positions were reversed. I feel that my husbands mom should say something since it's her family but she won't and I am about to say something in a nice way but I need advice on if I should and how I should. Thanks so much.
