we are having our small wedding at Metzler Park in Estacada, oregon, and have rented a medium sized picnic pavilion for our ceremony/BBQ picnic reception. The pavilion is riverfront and has a long swinging bridge right next to it, it's very scenic. we are going for casual, with a country-rustic feel. I have several ideas for the centerpieces and have purchased many decorations and lights to hang. The picnic tables are mostly metal, dark red in color and decidedly not very aesthetic or even comfortable. Was just curious who has had a similar wedding and how you made the most of your un-fancy accommodations. The photos i included are of the actual location.
