(this is a repost from the reception board)
We are planning on getting married on the Sunday of a 3 day weekend. We really want the cermony to start around 2 or 3 in the afternoon, so it can give guests the time to travel to and from the party if they dont want to stay over (it will probably be an hour away).
So far, I have found only 1 place that is willing to do it at that time. Most places have a 12 - 5 or 6 - 11 type schedule. Is it just impossible to find places that offer afternoon receptions? I suppose I would be willing to do a night wedding, but it's not my top choice and I really don't want to compromise on that unless I have to.
Any one have a places they could suggest that might be more flexible?
