Hey there! Has anyone stayed at a Dreams brand or Excellence brand resort in the Dominican Republic for their honeymoon? My travel agent recommended a few and I see that they are family-friendly... It's not a deal breaker for me if kids are at the resort but I wanted some feedback on how the resorts were for a honeymoon? She recommended the Dreams La Romana and the Excellence Punta Cana.
Then there's Secrets and Now Larimar Punta Cana in Dominican Rep., which does look nice... We're also looking at the Secrets Capri Riviera Cancun... It's my favorite of all four, but I have some reservations about going to Mexico after reading up on the tainted alcohol and travel warnings... But maybe I'm just being hyper-paranoid...
