Small backpack/sling bag

Does anyone have a small bag like this? I want something to hold a few granola bars, a couple of apples, and maybe a water bottle. I’ve tried a string bag but the strings hurt my shoulders and things get crunched.

I was looking at the rope bag on amazon but worried it would still hurt my shoulders. 

Theres mo way I’m buying $184 bag to go to the zoo with some granola bars!!

I went to Disney with The North Face womens Jester.  It's a full backpack that I now use as my laptop bag for travel and I LOVE the thing.  I used it in Aug and didn't melt.

The only time I find it uncomfortable is when I weigh it down with too much stuff. Normally, it sits nicely, close to the back and I barely notice it is there. The ropes act like a strap and don’t dig or pinch.

I can't stand the string-strap bags.  I bought this, 6, and love it.  I take it on all of our trips/day events.  It's tiny, but space is maximized so I can pack 2-3 water bottles, a thin jacket/sweater, granola bars/snacks, small wallet, sunscreen, and a big camera in it without issue.  The strap is well padded and doesn't hurt, even after a full day of travel/hiking/sight-seeing.  Also, the pack itself is pretty small, so you aren't also trying to navigate a big bag all day.  It fits in those theme park lockers, even full.

Highly recommend.  Their purses are great, too.

Ooooh! I might have to get one of these! H has a hunting style backpack but when we both need one, I have to use my old Jansport with metal band patches on it from high school. LOL

I liked the rope bag, but this is something dh or a kid would carry too.

My MIL got us this bag a few years ago and I LOVE it. It folds into itself so you can easily toss it in a larger purse or other bag. I bring it everywhere as a just in case bag. The straps are padded, there's a small pocket at the top with a clip for keys, etc, and you can fit two water bottles on the sides. It feels like a "real" backpack but is way more convenient.

I have something similar to what Ahoy posted although mine doesn't fold into itself. But it is a super lightweight backpack that I love. Unfortunately it was a freebie from a company so I can't post a link or what kind it is
