Hello!!!
My FI and I are both originally from Maine... and currently live in Boston! We are looking to get married in early summer of 2020. We have a large wedding party and lots of family and friends who enjoy a party. Our guest list is between 125-150. We were engaged in Disney and originally planned on having a Disney wedding in Orlando... after research and meeting with Disney planners it was clear that we were only going to be able to invite 65 guests. Not really our style!
We have toured a number of venues both in and out of state and our heart always comes back to Maine. We are trying to stay under $20,000. We are most interested in an inclusive package that has overnight accommodations for guests as many of them will be coming from out of state. We have toured Sunday River, Union Bluff, The Colony Hotel, Inn on Peaks Island, Westin Portland, Merrill Auditorium and love them all in different ways and have "felt the feelings" at each but have nit picked at each one for having something the other didn't. We would like the reception to not end at 10pm. What are some of your favorite venues? What are your thoughts? We are options kind of people!
