Hi Houston Knotties!

I have been on TK for a while, but never posted on this board....getting married on 9/18/11 in Maryland.  I just moved to Spring less than 2 months ago, so now I am doing some long distance wedding planning. 

Anywhoo..... I am looking for recommendations for a spa or salon in the North/Northwest Houston area that does waxing.  Clean, professional, etc. I got a couple of referrals, but both are quite far from me.  Does anyone know about The Waxing Bar nearThe Woodlands? (http://www.thewaxingbar.com/index.html) or do you have any other suggestions of places to check out?

I've never had waxing done, but the only place I could recommend is Dionysus at Market Street in the Woodlands. I got my hair highlighted there and they did an awesme job, and I read reviews before I went there. Many of the reviews said their waxing services are great.

Thanks ladies.  I decided to try Helena's (http://www.helenaswax.com/hspa/).  It's a little far from me, but they have excellent reviews!

I've been to the Waxing Bar! They do a PHENOMENAL job. Their salon is a little funkier and not necessarily serene, but Pia, the owner, is incredibly friendly, makes you feel comfortable, and does a thorough job. Oh, and it also hurts way less than other places! Highly recommend TWB!
