Inexpensive Wedding Venue in Houston

My fiance and I are looking for a cheap wedding venue in the Houston area. We are planning on having the wedding in December of 2013 so outside venues are out. Our overall budget is 10000 but we are willing to go as high as 12000 and we are planning on having about 100 guests. I have researched venues A LOT and I am beginning to get discouraged. We know that we cant go all out with the budget that we have but are still wanting to have a saturday night wedding with a meal and drinks. Thanks!

I dont know if you have found anything yet, but Shirley Acres is amazing!! I'm getting married there in July and it's only costing me $5,000 for 100 people and that includes a wedding coordinator!!!!! And it's breathtaking! Remember this price includes everything, but a photographer and personal flowers!! Check them out, they are great!

Check out the Houston Heights firehouse. I think renting there is a few grand and you have to do cleanup (which is how they keep it so cheap) but I think it's worth it. If it weren't for the fact that it's not big enough for my guests (250) thenI would do it. I think their capacity is 150-200. I can't remember exactly, but it's definitely enough for your 100.

Chauteau Crystale fits your budget with sit down meal, they also allow you (or your chosen person) to drop off liquor to the bartender before the event begins and they will serve that to guests.

Belle Rose Maison, it is inexpensive to rent and you can choose all your own vendors and do everything yourself

1. I too want to have the same as you within the same budget for less than 50 guests but the yachts ask for a lot more =(...I am curious to know what you have found for yourself. Congrats by the way @SANDRAPAZ08
