Like Linen Table Covers

Has anyone ever used disposable table cloths? What is your opinion? I'd rather spend $60 on disposable table cloths, than $300 on renting them.

Hmmm This all depends on your venue and your budget.
Sometimes the throw away one look cheap.
You really need to consider everything
budget, venue, day, time, guests, food, decore.....
china and silverware on plastic table clothes may be odd....
But, if done properly it may work....

I had a bride use them for her wedding and you couldn't tell by looking at them they were plastic. The only thing was they were not floor length. Take a look at my website, under events, Mathew and Courtney.

I don't think it souds like a wedding. When you use things like that I think its more of a party feel vs a actually wedding.

It really depends on what style of a wedding you are having. Look at all your options first, I never heard of disposable cloths but I don't think they will have different designs like actual table cloths.

Why ask for opinions if you're going to get snappy when you get them?

I didn't think she sounded snappy she just replied to the opinion. Why does it matter? I am sure you can find better drama than this.

Thanks for the opinion Karamel, but I was specifically asking if anyone had used or been exposed to Like Linen table cloths. Like Linens are one of my options, which is why I ask. They also do come in different designs and colors: http://www.mypapershop.com/210431.html They are actually very popular at weddings, and most brides don't know about them.

Nevertheless, I have found a vendor who provides polyster linens for a very affordable price.

You should check out linentablecloth.com. They have a lot of table clothes and accessories for a very reasonable price. It looks like they also might carry linen like table clothes. I'm trying to figure out the best way to obtain table clothes as well so I really appreciate the link for mypapershop.com.

Agreed. She posted a question, she got a response, then made a decision and told us about it and why... I don't think it was being snappy at all.

Ok, WOW. So thank you for posting the thing about the linen-LIKE cloths. I did not know that existed.

We are having our reception at Tin Hall - its an old country bar. Its all wood bar height tables & chairs w/a huge dance floor, etc...I only need table cloths to cover 10 truly hideous 8 ft banquet tables and chair covers for 60 folding chairs. We're serving BBQ on paper plates w/plastic ware and I was thinking actual CLOTH would be too fancy for that dinner! I would totally do the red/white picnic table covers, but I don't want any red at my right before Valentines day wedding. Hey I have to draw the line somewhere, right? Cool
