COLOR QUESTION!!

The venue we are looking at has alot of ivory and green. I want to pick wedding colors that will not clash with the venues decor.  Our wedding will be at the beginning of September. (09.10.11) Any color combo suggestions??

ivory with green and purple accents would look very nice.  and would be easy to tie purple in with flowers and sashes. ivory linens and greenery as well.

I think I would pair something warm with the ivory and green .. like in the orange or pink family. maybe a burnt orange or dark pink? if i were you, i would just browse other fall weddings on websites like stylemepretty to get an idea of color palettes and how things will mesh together. good luck!

I like the purple idea, also you could do a black (even a damask ) with it, I think it would make the green pop so much more. Something like this maybe:

thanks for the advice ladies! im going with the  purple, green, ivory combo. that green and black is a gorgeous idea though! i really like that invitation layout on that collage. that might definitely be inspiration for my invites!

im still working on my colors since no one in the linens department seems to have a TEAL    we may use the ivory, green and purple as well.
