NWR: Xmas party venue

I had a moment of temporary insanity and volunteered to plan the company Christmas party this year. I was trying to book the Cadillac Bar, but they are booked solid thru December. I have been racking my brain thinking of venues I saw when I planned my wedding but I am coming up with zilch.

Do any of you ladies know of a good venue or restaurant that would hold 100 to 150 ppl? I am steering away from hotels or anything that is too formal because we are letting employees bring their families.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

P.S.
We were going to do a Mexican fiesta theme at CB.

Ours has been at Sambuca downtown before. Not sure it's "family friendly".

Is it too far of a drive to try and book the CB in Kemah? 

I think there may be a few Los Cucos locations that could hold that amount of people.  I know some of them do big events, and the food is so good and relatively cheap!

What about petroleum club?  Too formal?  I think they're prices are reasonable if I remember correctly.

Also, there is a cafe adobe sort of near river oaks (near St. Anne's Church) that I think is big enough for the kind of party you're talking about.  Again, good and reasonably priced mexican food.
