Floating Chinese Lanterns

Hi Ladies-

Saw some beautiful floating chinese lanterns that fly into the air on Groupon today. While these would not quite fit with our theme, I can see how these would be beautiful at the end of a ceremony or reception and wanted to post it for anyone who might want these:

ugh I wanted to do these soooooooo badly!!!!!!  But the Fire Marshall in Newport wouldn't allow us to release them because of the wind and the houses are too close together that they would create a fire hazard if they blew onto someone's roof.  But they are gorgeous!!  They did them in the Hangover 2

We do this every fourth of july and for Cambodian/Chinese New Year. It is part of our tradition along with floating lotus candles, they are made from rice paper too. But yeah there are strict laws regarding the usage of these sky lanterns because they are flammable. I still think they are absolutely beautiful. btw ebay sells them for cheap too!
