Narragansett Area Hotel Recommendations for Room Blocks

Hi,

We're having our reception at Kinney Bungalow in Narragansett in October, and I was wondering if any of you have recommendations for where we should block rooms.  We've already called the Hampton Inn and the Holiday Inn in South Kingstown.  They are a little expensive for some of our guests, so we're hoping to find a cheaper option also.  Any ideas?

Thanks for your help!

Those are the only hotels in the area, you can find some small motels or inns around Narragansett for a little cheaper, but make sure you read all reviews you can find online, they are usually mixed at best, so it might not be worth it to save the money.  You could look into some of the bed and breakfasts around.

I was married at Spain in Narragansett last year and we had a room block at the Hampton Inn in South County Commons.  There really isn't much down there besides the Hampton and the Holiday Inn.  There are some smaller places but they are more motel like rather than hotel.

We are getting married at The Village Inn in Narragansett in October.  They have rooms and are in the process of redoing them all.  Their prices are more reasonable in the fall.

we've blocked rooms for our august wedding at the village inn... yes, reviews are mixed, and it's a bit expensive, but you can't beat the location, they're redoing it, and so far Annie (the manager) has been really helpful and accommodating.
