Service charge- Tip for staff

Anyone getting married at Oceancliff or Castle Hill? I noticed on the pricing a service charge for the service staff, which is great i do not want the guests to feel the need to tip for drinks. But does this mean that the service charge is the full on gratuity from us, the bride and groom and do we tip again?

I can't speak to those venues specifically, but does it specifically say the charge is "for service staff"? Most places' service charge goes to the venue and does not go to the staff. Some contracts even state this and say it is not a gratuity. However, perhaps those venues have the tip built in. I'd definitely call and ask. If not, you'd tip on top of whatever other charges there are.

If I understood correctly at my venue... service cgarge for staff is basically the fee the venue pays them. gratuity is NOT included. :(
