NWR: Inexpensive places to hold a pig roast in RI

Hi ladies!  I'm throwing my husband a 40th birthday party this July and I'm looking for a place in RI that will allow an outside caterer (pig roast!!) and that is really affordable.  The party will be on the smaller side, about 50-60 guests.  We're paying for it ourselves and trying to furnish our new house at the same time, so the more affordable the better.  I'm looking for something nicer then a VFW hall, but not Rosecliff mansion.  (haha)  I've inquired with Sweet Berry Farm already.  I love the idea of something country, rustic and outdoorsy.

Hi..my fiance's cousin had his wedding at Twelve Acres and they did a pig roast, very laid back and casual. Hope that helps a little

There's a gun club in Rehoboth, MA and they do pig roasts all the time. Not sure if you have to be a member there, but you can probably inquire.

Also you can rent out the gazebos at Colt State Park for about $75, then do the pig roast there!

Thanks, girls!!  The Twelve Acres lead was most helpful!  They do pigroasts for $25/person.  I've been there a long, long time ago for a wedding, but I had totally forgotten about them.  And I certainly did not know they did pig roasts! 

I'd love to do Colt State Park, but I believe there's a rule you can't have alcohol in a state park and we like drinking, a lot.  lol.
