How much to tip a priest?

We are getting married in a Catholic church and the "donation" to the church is $500.  My fiance is having a priest from MA come down to perform the ceremony. I assume I need to pay for a hotel room for 2 nights for the priest, invite him to the rehearsal dinner and the reception.  How much of a tip would you recommend we give him for marrying us?  This is getting expensive!! Thanks!

WOW - i would think the free hotel for 2 nights would be his tip!  I guess I am too cheap?  I'm glad you threw this out there because I thought the "donation" was like "gratuity added"... yikes!

I haven't heard of tipping the priest. I am pretty sure you don't have to worry about that. The whole humility thing and all that.
