No Chicken Dance! Cheese-Free Wedding band

Hi everyone,

This is my first post on The Knot - how exciting! My fiance and I are looking for a more alternative wedding band for our Fall 2013 wedding in RI. 

Likes: Bruce Springsteen, The Kinks, The Talking Heads, Bowie, Queen, some funk (Sly and the Family Stone), lots of mo-town and a dash of corny (who can get married in RI without Sweet Caroline?!). Oldies are a-ok as well.

Dislikes (when it comes to a wedding band): Top 40, most "alt rock" from the last two decades, definitely no Train. Please no Train. Disco need not apply either.

Any ideas you have would be greatly appreciated!
