Need catering help!
Hey yall! I'm new to all this and have been engaged a little over a month. Wedding is in April 2010. I have a budget just under $10,000 but a large guest list, around 200 people. The wedding is in Beaufort, my hometown. I have gotten catering quotes from 1 company so far, and it was not pretty! Like $28 per person...needless to say, I cannot pay that much! We want buffett or station-style, BBQ and Lowcountry Boil with some apps and beer and wine. Is this what I should expect to pay? Seems very high to me...Any ideas on cheaper ways to go, or any suggestions for caterers? Thanks
