Beach Wedding/Private Home Rental - SC or NC Coast

My finace and I are considering renting a private home on the coast of NC or SC to host our intimate wedding with family and close friends. The idea is to stay at the home for the week and have a quick ceremony on the beach followed by a reception at the home. We have looked into a few properties outside of Charleston, SC but are running into issues with using the home for a reception for about 50-70 ppl. I guess the concern is noise and parking. Anyone have suggestion for this type of wedding?

We had our wedding at a private house in Myrtle Beach. (see link below) It's an enormous oceanfront house and it actually has a great set up for outdoor events. There is outdoor electric in the lawn, a large screened porch, and a walk-in refrigerator. Take a look. Let me know if you have any questions about the property. This is exactly what FI and I are doing. We just went online and searched for house rentals in Myrtle Beach. We narrowed down our critera to 6+ bedrooms, oceanfront, etc. and found a place. Good luck!

you should check out Folly Beach - there are great houses there - my FI's cousin had hers there.

I just went through this same search and ended up finding lots of options on Folly Beach SC and picking one there (we love Folly).
