Alterations in Columbia

I need to get my dress altered soon. I bought it at Davids Bridal, but I've heard some bad things about their alterations. Where is a good place in Columbia to get a dress altered...or even where to not get it altered. Any advice would help!

I got mine done at Jo-Lin's on St. Andrews road. I have heard the same things about David's Bridal though..
