Reception Halls in Knoxville/Oak Ridge area.

This may be lengthy. I'm sorry in advance. I'm planning a wedding for 10/16/11.

I'm desperately looking for a banquet hall, room something where I can just use the room, tables and chairs. I would prefer an outside caterer, bring my own alcohol...etc. BUT I CAN'T FIND ANYTHING!! And even if I have to go through them, the food menus suck, because I'm vegetarian. Would anyone know vegetarian friendly caterers in the area? Halls where I can just rent the rooms, etc...something? Knoxville has tons of places, but the wedding itself will be in Oak Ridge...

I really have this awesome idea for the food, that most likely won't work out...but I'd like to run it by some caterers...are there ways to find out if they're flexible? Or what? This whole thing is confusing...and I don't know if I'm clear enough...so please ask questions and I'll try to clarify.

Are you just looking at websites or are you e-mailing with caterers? I e-mailed with several caterers in the Knoxville area (can't remember off the top of my head, but can look them up if you like) who were more than willing to provide vegetarian fare! Often they're willing to make stuff that isn't on their typical menu, so it's always good to ask. 

A lot of places require that any alcohol is served by a licensed bartender, so keep that in mind. But a lot of bartenders are more than willing to let you bring your own alcohol. Just be wary of "corkage fees"!

I'm having the same problem finding a descent reception location ir or around the Knoxville area. I'm on a budget and we are wantig to do an indoor wedding since we are getting married in the middle of August. I'm open for suggestions!!

If you don't mind the rusticness of it all, the Tea Room at Norris Dam has tables and chairs for 100 people, I think. We're having our wedding and reception there in April and it was budget friendly considering the thousands of dollars most places charge around Knoxville! It was around $600 for the whole weekend.

The Oak Ridge mall has a few nice rooms they rent out fairly cheap. I went to a wedding there and they had a caterer and alcohol..granted, it's the mall,but the room was really nice.

You should consider Crescent Bend.  They are pretty expensive on weekends, however, they have an amazing package if you would be willing to change the date to a weekday that includes a lot of stuff.  That's what I'm doing.  Getting married on a Monday
