Wedding in Middle Tn

Okay, my finance and I are getting married June 15, 2013. We're trying to find pretty places around Murfreesboro and Nashville. We like the idea of an outdoor wedding. We need to keep things cheap (free would be even better!) Our total budget for the wedding is $5k (and that includes the dress). So, any ideas?

You should look at Gateway Island in Murfreesboro, its behind the new MTMC, is 350 for the full day and its goregeous!

There is a nice farm in Lascassas TN that is nice but can't find the price at the moment. I am getting married in a town called Woodbury(16 miles out of mboro) and renting a AMAZING place called "The Corner" in the country and it's only a $1,000 and you get Thursday-Sunday rental..tables and chairs usage, a full kitchen use, parking attendant for the day of the wedding, pretty outdoor space with a gazebo to get married at and an amazing place for an indoor reception.

The Oakland Mansion in Murfreesboro is amazing too! Place for outdoor ceremony and indoor reception.

We do retreats there with our church and they've got a beautiful outdoor chapel (up to 200 people for $600) as well as a gorgeous indoor space if you wanted to do your reception there as well ($1175 for Fri at 2pm to Sat at midnight) The photos on their website don't do it justice!
