I've always wanted to take a ride in a horse drawn carriage and I think it would be so romantic to pull away from our wedding in one. Our hotel is close to our venue, so distance isn't a problem. I googled "carriage rides in austin" and found a couple of companies that book carriage rides to/from specific locations. The person I contacted at one of them made it a point to say that they were 100% financially stable and were NOT the company that customers filed complaints against. This made me wonder 1. what was that company? and 2. should I trust any of these companies enough to pay my deposit and be assured that they'll actually show up? Any experiences, anyone?
