Wedding Dress Preservation

Where did you get your dresses cleaned & preserved?  The place I bought it from says $220..sounds expensive but I guess it could just be the going rate.. Thoughts?

    I'd love to know this answer too!  It seems like there are so many options out there some dramatically less expensive than others.  Then I also wonder if sending it off to be done versus having it done locally is better.  I'm pretty scared at the thought that I send it off and it never comes back!

    Maybe ask at the bridal stores that you go to? I would think they have someone that they could locally recommend.

    I had my dress cleaned before the bridal pictures at Austin Cleaners. They charged $140. I don't remember how much the guy said preservations were. I would give them a call, they are super nice.
