Q for Okla. Brides

How many people are you inviting to your wedding?

If you're wedding invitation list is more than 150, where are you having your wedding/reception?

Looking for ideas.  Thanks.

    LOL I did earlier.  :-P

Wanted info on how you were doing your ceremony and reception at the Round Barn, it's on our list of places to view for possible locations.  Figured you had your wedding probably more planned then ours is so I was looking to see how you all were setting up, etc.

My bride and I are doing our wedding here in edmond.   162 guests invited.  We're doing it at our church for the ceremony, and having the reception at the UCO jazz lab.

I'm only having 100, but the place I'm having it at you can have up to 300 with the choice on indoors or outdoors.  We're having it at The Gardens in OKC.

The Farmer's market can handle a large crowd.

Hey!  I'm a recent bride and a wedding photographer (fairly) new to the OKC area.  For a larger wedding, you might want to check out the OKC history museum.  I shot one there and it was so cool!  (Various balconies, large windows, big space for dancing....awesome.)

I also know of quite a few smaller venues that can hold around 150, like pretty wineries off Route 66, etc.

Let me know if I can help in any way!  Congrats on the engagement!  Have fun planning! It will all go by so fast!!  :)

We had ours in a private room in Riverwind Casino.  Not your typical location, but for the price, the room is AMAZING!  The food they provided was reasonable and looked amazing.  We had close to 150 at ours. :)

Bobbyward20, I had never even thought about checking at the local casinos for rooms.  That is SUCH a great idea!  I've love to see some pictures of your venue.  Thanks for sharing!

I'm getting married at the Dominion House in Guthrie and I think they can handle 300 or 350 guests.
