bridesmaid alterations and timeline?

Anyone know what the typical cost is for bridesmaid alterations?  Dresses are from Davids Bridal (Deptford) but I want to get the best possible price so if you have any suggestions in Gloucester or Camden County that are really affordable, bring them on!  Also, about how far out do I need to get them done?  I'm losing weight and don't want to do it too soon!

    You can go to Really Good Tailors in Runnemede. The lady's cranky but just boss her around and tell her what you want her to do and she'll do it. She's cheap. I got my BM dress altered there and I got a hem and I got it taken in at the bust for 30 bucks.

    Diana, how come you went to Yeon instead of the one in Runnemede?  Just curious.

    Yeon at Fashion Stitch in MT. Laurel is awesome and cheap.  Don't know if that's too far for you or what.  She did my BM's dress for $35 and it took her about a week.
