Military Brides

Military bride, need help with invitation wording.

Hey I know i dont post very often on here- but i am working on the invitations and we are not having a "full military" wedding, and only having him in his military class A's or Dress blues (army) and we are talking about the invitations we dont want the "normal" wedding invitation wording... can you tell me what you are using? or have any suggestions on what to use?

    You are cordially invited to celebrate the union of

    Stan
    and
    Mr. Stan,
    United States Marine Corps

    Followed by the informal date
    location
    city
    reception to follow
    location

     To add to Stan's
    if either of your parent's or any other person is contributing $ to the wedding you should add
    Mr. & Mrs. Bride's Parents
    and/or
    Mr. & Mrs. Groom's Parents


    cordially invited to celebrate the union of
    their daughter and/or children

    Stan
    and
    Mr. Stan,
    United States Marine Corps

    Followed by the informal date
    location
    city
    reception to follow
    location

    The only part to really play around with is the "invited" part and a lot of that depends on who is paying because you have to include their names on the invitation since they are hosting.  The rest is just your name, your groom's name, date, time and location.  And the wording depends on how formal your wedding is, obviously more formal weddings would need fancier wording while more casual weddings don't. 

    You might consider changing your username (which requires you to delete your account) because it provides a lot of information about you and your FI.  There are a lot of creepy people out there!  Just a suggestion...
