Military Brides

Head gear

So we are having our wedding outdoors on a miltary base. It will be on a Saturday at 4pm (1600). I and my groomsmen and some attendes will be in army dress blues. What would be the correct way to do it, no head gear for just the groom or for the groom and groomsmen or ??

Wait, you're the service member and you don't know when to wear your cover/cap?

That doesn't make sense to me. Abide by the rules relating to your uniform. Marines wear their cover when they're not inside or when they're under arms (i.e. for duty).

Also, sheesh, capitalize your branch of service.

I recommend checking the Army regulation (AR) for dress and appearance.  That will give you the guidance for what to wear for the situation and the uniform combo.  I am Air Force so I am not exactly sure what the Army rules are but I know that we don't wear a cover with the semi-formal uniform.  I hope this helps Smile
