Did anyone here do the sand ceremony for their wedding? FI and I decided right away that we'd like to do the sand ceremony instead of the unity candle. How does that work though? Aside from the traditional vows, is there separate wording that goes along with the sand ceremony? If so, is that something I have to provide? Since FI and I are not "fully confirmed", a judge will be officiating the wedding instead of a pastor, so I'm not sure if this is something that a judge would know, or if it's something I need to provide.
