blues and theme

We have already decided on a midnight blue color scheme. 

well tonight my fiance decided that he does want to wear his dress blues for our wedding. 

Would it clash? Or will it look like we picked a blue theme to match his blues?

I think it will be pretty. The uniform matches pretty much anything. Different shades of blue would be really pretty

I don't understand why people need themes.  "We love each other forever" isn't enough for some people? 

That said, my theme is midgets in bear suits dressed up as humans.
