So instead of the traditional rose ceremony where the roses are the first gifts of husband and wife, members of our immediate family will be given roses before the ceremony and will serve in place of the unity candle. There will be a point in the cermoney where the officiant will ask those people who have roses, to place them in a vase and two seperate roses will be for us. I am looking for a "speech" that the officiant will say explaining what is happening (modeled after the unity candle "speech"). Any suggestions????
