I am thinking about having a cocktail reception but have a few concerns. How do you properly inform guests that there will be no sit down dinner. With no full dinner, how many appetizers should you offer through the night? Since there is no assigned seating am I required to have enough tables and chairs for every person or has anyone come across more creative seating arrangements? The venue I am thinking about is a state park/campground inside a stone pavilion with 2 fireplaces and a "porch" area so I would like a relaxed semi casual indoor/outdoor atmosphere.
