Plastic Surgery... NWR

So I was thinking about the BSC post the other day about the wedding day plastic surgery. I know Wrkn said she "got a rack" (best line ever) and Loop wanted a couple things but what would everyone else get?

I am quite literally thinking of having some things done before the wedding but they are things I've wanted a long time. I'm just freaked out to actually go through with it. I don't know how much these things would cost but if my settlement comes through soon I'm legitimately thinking of treating myself to some things.

What would you ladies get done (if anything)? It doesn't have to be for your wedding just in general.

I'm curious!

Make sure to give yourself plenty of time to heal.  For the first few months, my boobs sat really high, were a little hard, and shaped weird.  It takes some time for them to "drop and settle."
Google pics of people immediately post-op, they look square.

If you really want plastic surgery, find a board approved surgeon and set up a consultation.  Really do your research, it's a big thing.

I really don't want anything else.  I thought about my nose.  I have a wide, odd nose.  But I don't want to change anything about my face, I think it would make me feel too different.

Wrkn - I always wanted smaller boobs but then when I lost a bunch of weight they went down to a 34B which is exactly what I wanted so I'm not too worried in that area.

I want Invisalign and a nose job. Really the nose job but I am super scared. lol.

Ok, I want invisilign, I wasn't considering that plastic surgery, though.

I had braces as a kid, but I didn't wear my retainer, and I have the Madonna gap now.

Yeah I guess it's not "technically" plastic surgery. I think I would be okay with just getting a tooth or two removed to stop a little overcrowding. I don't know if they do that but I'd think it's much cheaper!

If I got the nose job I'd be okay with not having Invisalign. I don't know I'm just really contemplating it now. Lol. Glad you like your boobs though -- I'd take a little lift!

Honestly, the only think I might do is a boob lift. I have D sized boobs and they work for me but they're starting to sag some (stupid gravity). I don't think I'd ever do it though.

Lazer hair removal. That would be my number one.

I wouldn't a nose job though... it is just the recovery time and everyone seeing you with bandages for so long. That can't be hidden like a boob job.

BF's mom is getting lypo next week... she is skinnier than me and does not need it.

Oooh. I never thought of laser hair removal. That would be nice to do. I grew all kinds of hair that grows in weird places after having my daughter.

To clarify my previous post, I would love to go back to a DD cup. After having my daughter, my boobs went up to a G cup.. and stayed that way. There are way too many cute shirts that I don't fit into because of these bazongas. I was DD up until I got pregnant and thought that that size was perfect for me.

To make myself feel better about having super tiny boobs is when I say: then I don't have to worry about them getting saggy. We'll see what happens if/when I get pregnant.

As far as clothing fitting - I think companies make shirts that fit larger b/ c cups perfectly. Just as girls with larger boobs have issuses with shirts, I have issues with having no boobs. There are shirts that I like that end up being sewn large/ floppy in the boobs and it makes me annoyed. Just like women's jeans.

Oh I HATE how womens jeans are sized. They need be me made with a waist/hip and length size. I have large thighs and short legs for my size. Gives me a hell of a time trying to find jeans that fit properly. I've always said that if I could get lipo from my thighs and insert it into my boobs it would be perfect.

I would really like to try dermabrasion or laser resurfacing on my face. I have acne scars and large pores that I'd love to fix. I've thought about it for years, but I probably don't want to fork out the money.

My number two choice would be laser hair removal. I'm lazy and hate shaving my legs.

ETA: I just did a little reading about both dermabrasion and laser resurfacing, and it sounds painful! So maybe I'd just do microdermabrasion.

I really want Invisalign, am actively considering it for the immediate future.

I want to have a porceline veneer put on one of my front teeth - it is very weak from years of braces and has been chipping at the bottom, and it's see-through at the very bottom.  This would make it stronger and solid colored.

I also would want laser hair removal.  Underarms and bikini.

None of that I really consider plastic surgery, but it would all improve my appearance so perhaps it counts.

I want some cosmetic dental work like several others, but yeah I don't really call that plastic surgery.

I want to have some liposuction done on my face and chin.  The medications I've been on for my entire life have caused me to develop a slight double chin even though I'm not overweight at all.  I hate it.

I want some cosmetic dental work as well, and I probably will get that stuff done eventually (same as most of you, I don't consider it plastic surgery though).

I'd most like to get some work done on my face to even out my eyes. One is much bigger than the other when I smile and I hate it (as in, one is super squinty). It's a muscle thing though I think, so I'm not sure what they'll do, but I'd love to have it fixed. I have a bit of an annoying nose bump, which I might like changed, but I can deal.

As much as I'd love implants, I just don't see it happening. I'm too chicken.

If I could get some work done without it being so painful, I'd probably jump at the chance to make my face more symmetrical, but I'm a real baby when it comes to pain, so probably the most I'd ever do, and only when I'm older, is an eyelid lift, botox, and a breast lift after babies.

ETA: I'd also totally do laser hair removal and a bit of cosmetic dentistry.

I wouldn't get anything done really, but sometimes I like to think about getting myself a rack as well. Not too much, but I'd love to be at least a B. ...or even a full A -_-

I'd get rid of my third chin.  lol

But seriously, I don't think I'd ever have surgery.  Although rare exception would be if I lost a breast to cancer or my vajay or some other body part.  I'd like those re-placed via plastics.

LOL All you ladies made me laugh a little -- it's funny I never see things that should be corrected on other people just on myself.

@Desert & Beads - I would definitely do an eye-lid lift, I have the one slightly squintier eye when I smile and it annoys me. I will also eventually get botox but not so much that my face does not move.

@hetsup - I'd do my arms too - the underarm flying squirrel part that won't go away!

@ Cate - I am with you on the veeners thing. I really want them on my two front teeth because I have chipped them both several times. It's so annoying. I think I would seriously take a nose job over cosmetic dental work - no matter how much I want that done.

I really, really hate my nose. lol

I would laser hair removal anything I shave. I hate shaving. Other than that I'm pretty happy with how I look, minus acne flair ups and the weight I've gained, but I haven't gained enough weight to want or need lipo.

I'd love it if there was a surgery that would get rid of my ONE dimple.  I have the one from when I fell off a chair when I was little, it looks kind of odd to have a dimple on one cheek and not the other.

Definitely on the orthodontics too.  I had braces and expanders when I was a kid because I didn't have enough room in my mouth.  After I got my braces off, I wore my retainer religiously, but then it randomly started not fitting.  Hello wisdom teeth.  Not only that, but they came in at an angle, so it messed my bottoms all up again.  Eventually I need to have them taken out (they don't bother me, so I can't justify the money right now) and then I'll see about the invisalign.

for those of you who want to get a nose job....It hurts so badly. When I was 16 I got my nose broken in a softball accident and it caved in one side of my nose. I got reconstructive surgery and was in pain for about two weeks and then whenever anyone touched me I was in pain. It took about three months to be up to par again and I had a lot of people simply thinking I was a 16 year old girl who thought I was some rich 16 year old chick who wanted to fix a small problem in my nose. It would never be something that I would have ever done without not being ever be able to breathe normally again without it. Words of wisdom only.

Callalily - that kind of freaks me out a little and I'm sorry you had such a bad experience!

I still really want it done, honestly I wish I had done it awhile ago. So it was 3 months before your nose went back to normal completely? I'm trying to work out recovery time. I would never usually consider it but honestly I have trouble breathing and I just hate my nose, lol.
