I have a pin that was my grandmother's. It is made of pearls and blue beads--very vintage looking. It is pretty and elegant, and it's about 2 inches around. It means a lot to me, since she passed away a few years ago and she was the only grandparent I was close to. I really wanted to incorporate this pin into my attire as something old and something blue. In thinking about my hair accessories, I had the idea to attach the pin to a comb and wear in in my hair.
My question for all of you, is whether this would be a little tacky. My wedding colors are brown with orange, ivory and green accents, so this little pin may clash with everything. There isn't a TON of blue in it, just a few beads here and there; it is mostly pearls and silver accents. I have been getting mixed reactions from my BMs about this... could you give me your opinions please?
