When choosing my bridesmaids dresses, I've have decided to let them choose their own. I really want them to feel pretty - and since they have to buy it i don't want them to be disgruntled about their purchase! So within a few guidelines (about knee length, nothing flashy, the same color) I'm letting them decide.
However I'm having a heck of a time finding anywhere to actually purchase different dresses in the same color. We went to David's Bridal this week and the only dark purple they have on their color swatches is a lapis, which looks more like navy to me, while I'm looking more for an eggplant. So I'm out of ideas on where to look - with my bridesmaids spread out over 3 states. Is it possible to do different bridesmaids dresses anywhere?
