I love this dress allure 8681 http://www.allurebridals.org/bridal.html I should say I love how unique it looks...the assymetrical pickup skirt and the ruch. But I do not like the price tage ($800) I need something less than $300 ( hard I know) But I have a tiny budget! Davids Bridal (8681) and Mori Lee (28204) also have a dress with the simular features. Any help at this point would be appreciated I only have 8 more months until my wedding! Thanks

If you really love that dress, you could try finding some one selling it on a pre-owned wedding dress site.

I concur on the preowned dresses. I religiously searched bravobride.com and preownedweddingdresses.com looking for a Watters 1039B because in stores it would have cost upwards of $2000, and my budget was $1400 including alterations. I found my dress on eBay, took a chance, and got it for a total of $800 (shipping came out to $140 because the package was so large, but it will obviously vary by the seller). It looks great, almost fits me, and you can't tell it was used. Have you looked at bridesmaid's dresses? That's what I was going to do before I found my dress-Watters carries the dress I wanted as a bridesmaid dress but with a different taffeta, and that way you can also pick from a wider range of colours. You may also want to try Mon Cheri Bridals (www.moncheribridals.com). Their stuff is beautiful and quite inexpensive, and their bridesmaid line is also very pretty. Dessy and After Six are also good places to look.
