dress for "older bride"

Any suggestions for a dress for a bride in her mid 50's? It is a second wedding for both of us. I don't want a bridal gown, and do not want to spend a fortune on a dress. ( I've usually had luck in Lord and Taylors).

I would look into either white or ivory bridesmaid's dresses or even mother of the bride dresses.  If you've had good luck at Lord and Taylor's, why not start there?

My mom, who'll be 50 next year, just got remarried at the beginning of this month wore a peach colored v-neck dress.  It was knee length.  She didn't want white or ivory so she just picked a pretty one from jcrew.  It was around $100.

Dillards.com has some nice ones (I bought mine there) that are more like special ocassion dresses than wedding dresses. They have a 30 day return policy and if you have a Dillards near you, you can return it to the store and don't have to pay return shipping.

I just noticed that the Nordstrom's dress I posted is the same one as the first Lord and Taylor's dress that Melissa posted. I think they look different because of the models. It looks like it's 62.00 cheaper at L&T's!!
