Do you think this hair comb is too big?

I wanted a hair comb to attach my veil to.  I am wearing my hair half up, half down.  After the ceremony I would take the veil off, of course. 

My questions are, do you think this comb is too big?  It is 11cm(4.33") long and 6cm(2.36") wide.

Also, how do you attach a veil to another comb?  My veil is on one comb right now, and I really don't want to have 2 shoved in my hair for the ceremony.  Is it possible to attach the veil to this comb and be able to take it off before the reception?

I almost bought that comb!  So no, I don't think it's too big!  But then again, I wanted somthing BLING-Y!

Where are you getting it?  Just want to make sure you're not getting ripped off because I've seen that on Ebay for around $15 or less..

The part about your veil...I would think a seamstress could help you out with your question.  There may be a way that she could attach loops to the veil that the individual teeth on the comb can go through.  That way when you want to take the veil off you just slip the comb out, remove the veil, and then slip the comb back in.

I don't think it will be too big.  My comb was 3inches x 1.75inches, and it could have been a little bit bigger.

As far as attaching your veil to it...I don't know that I'd recommend that.  It's going to make it more difficult to remove the veil later.  I had no problem having 2 combs in, and it was easy to take my veil out without disturbing my hairstyle.

My hairdresser said she'd be able to pin my veil in with bobby pins so that I can remove it after cermony. She recommended not attaching to blingy comb, though, said everyone hugging you will pull it down a bit and could mess up hair.
