Hello all!
My FI hasn't actually asked anyone to be his groomsmen or BM, but he's got his three closest friends in mind (I like and approve of all 3). However, one is a girl, and we don't believe she'll like being stuffed into a dress.
A bit about her: she's a feminist-lesbian-artist, who is very intelligent and very sweet when her ideals aren't being challenged. (Funny story, she stole and hid my heels at a party once because she thought they perpetuated a specific stereotype... they were 5 inch heels. Unfortunately for her, they were found and then all the girls had a go at trying them on and taking pictures.
So funny.)
We're thinking that just because she doesn't like dresses doesn't mean she can't look smashing in a tux! Or a suit (?). The FI has his heart set on a couple different tux styles, but we're worried about them fitting her properly.
Has anyone had experience with a groomswoman, or somesuch of a lady in menswear for a wedding? We'd love all the info we could get!
