looking for reception site on the seacoast!

i am going nuts looking for a reception site that will hold 200 guests and is not outrageously expensive. considering the meeting house at union bluff hotel in york, maine. has anyone been to a wedding there or know anything about it? i visited and like it  a lot but heard the food may not be great? any other suggestions? looking for summer/fall 2011...

I have heard rave reviews about Clay Hill Farm in York ME.  A friend got married there and said that it was reasonable.  http://www.clayhillfarm.com/

Look into Spring Hill in South Berwick, ME.  Their ballroom holds up to 200.

thank you! i was considering clay hill so i'll be sure to visit. i work in south berwick and also heard spring hill was nice. i am just concerned about there not being many hotels nearby...a lot of my guests will be coming from MA...thanks for the help : )

Second Spring Hill.  You won't find a more relaxed setting or get as much value of the dollar anywhere else.  Avoid downtown York in the summertime.  No parking!!
