Brown Tuxedos - Yes or No?

I'm wearing Maggie Phillipa and I want our wedding to be vintage inspired.  My girls will be wearing navy blue and I want all the flowers to be muted, classic colors (ivory, peach, etc).  Out of the blue yesterday, I saw a similar wedding and the groom and groomsmen were wearing dark brown tuxes ... I like!  What does everyone else think?  Brown tuxes - yes or no?

I like the idea of the brown.  But, I agree with Mbcdefg: the menswear is up to the groom.
