I would go with more of a wedge heel or a flat sandal type shoe so you don't have to worry about getting stuck in the grass or dirt.

    Try:

    endless.com
    6pm.com
    dsw.com
    overstock.com

I've seen those heel soulmate things online (google them) and they increase the contact area of your heel some, but I've never actually seen them un real life, so don't know how effective they are.

I would wear a wedge for the ceremony and heels for the reception.  I know many brides who changed shoes to accommodate the grass.

I have a pair of the sole mates.  There are various shapes in the UK.  Apparently really popular across the pond for outdoor tea parties.  I will be wearing them on my stillets for pictures.

or there are these:  http://www.heelsabove.com/ which have a larger surface area

I agree go with a wedge for the grass and change for the ceremony.  I was having the same problem with getting married on the beach.  We moved our ceremony to a courtyard pier where I'm wearing my heels and then wearing a wedge on the beach for pictures.
Congratulations and best wishes on your upcoming wedding!!!!

I wore a wedge for our outdoor ceremony and reception.  They were super comfy! Unfortunately, they're from Spring 2009.

But, my BM's wore Soul Mates with their heels and had no problem with sinking in the grass. They loved them.
