This may be a really dumb question...so bear with me. I ordered a corset back dress which looked amazing in the store. Longs story, but I ended up getting the dress shipped directly to me and will be getting alterations in Feb for my wedding this May. I tried on my dress today by myself and although I was able to get it on fine, the gap in the back of the dress is huge! I tried to hold the back sides of the dress together as close as I could...and obviously I can't lace myself up in it, but from the looks of it, I can't see how the corset will be able to pull the dress together so much!! It totally fits, but I'm just wondering how much the lace part really pulls in on a corset....4 inches? the gap between the modesty panel and the other side of the dress is at least 4-5 inches without it being laced up at all. Is this normal...or did I get too small of a size??
