I went dress shopping. Found a lot of things I like at 2 of the 3 places, but at the end of the day I'm torn between two of them.One is a beaded Lazaro sheath. It's hand-beaded & gorgeous! Very shimmery. The picture hardly does it justice. What's more? It's a $4600 dress, but I's be buying the sample for $1350. The beading is in perfect shape. However, it's not what I was going for (but why not be glamorous), it's still a little over budget (even with the $200 in store credit they offered me if I bought it), and it will cost more to alter because of the beading.

Very sophisticated & sexy, and they can order it in my size (the one I tried on was a 16, more fabric = more$) for under $700. I felt great about it when I had it on. One issue for me here is not knowing how it bustles. Also, I'm concerned I didn't get an accurate idea of how the dress looked since it was so far from my size.
