    Jersey

    *Pop or Soda?
    Soda

     *Bayg or bahg? (bag)
I have no idea how either would sound, but I have a pretty good Jersey accent, so you can imagine how i pronounce it.

    *Casserole or hot dish?
Casserole, I guess.  What is the difference?

    *ATM or TYME Machine?
    ATM.

New one: Sneakers or tennis shoes?

    Posted by Steph0871[/QUOTE]

*Pop or Soda? Neither. Around here it's a Coke for everything, then you specify which kind of Coke you want (sprite, coke, root beer, etc).

    *Bayg or bahg? (bag) Bahg

    *Casserole or hot dish? Casserole.

*ATM or TYME Machine? ATM. I've never heard of a TYME. Altough, you hear ATM machine around here a lot even though it's redundant.

H's family cracks up when I say anything they consider redneck. So, anything Jeff Foxworthy says during his standup. H also didn't know what my mom meant when she said he was 'smiten' with me and thought it was insult, like calling him whipped.

    On line.

And we have a ton of weird pronunciations and sayings.

We say "Mer-i-land" instead of "Mar-y-land."  My mom still adds "r's" to every word that ends in "a".  So she says "idears" or things like "I sore" for "I saw."
