Hi! I was wondering that too. I am bored to death and still have 45 minutes left at work. Man I'm craving some chocolate. I just had some cottage cheese, carrots and cucumbers instead (go me!) and that helped a tiny bit, but it's just not the same!

No, you are right Nicole. These three things are not like the other.

    I'm snacking on Pomegranate Craisins.

For the last 3 weeks I've been doing an awesome job of eating healthy, but it sure isn't always easy.

PS...pomegranate craisins? Sounds interesting, never heard of them.

    I'm here!

I'm waiting for my H to get home and make me dinner.  I love steak night.  He plays grilling king and all I have to do is start the veggies in the steamer. I'm bracing myself for my food-fest tomorrow.  A whole day of eating tasty food that'll probably make me ill but oh well.  I want bread and pasta.  Gluten allergy be damned.  I'm gonna be all messed up on Sunday anyway after the Daylight Savings change.  It always messes with me.

Anna! And anyone else looking for good gluten-free stuff, I made this pizza last night and it was awesome:

    http://www.recipegirl.com/2012/01/16/cauliflower-crust-hawaiian-pizza/

It seemed nasty while I was making it and I didn't think it would turn out, but it did! I'm definitely making it again, maybe with a pesto sauce and fresh tomato slices or something.

I'm here. Some idiot backed into my car in the parking lot. There's no damage though so thank god. I've learned that I'm the crazy psycho who yells at people after an accident though.

Also, I really hate when people add you to FB because you have ONE mutual friend. Just because you're friends with my dad doesn't mean I know who the hell you are.

I'm still at work too.  Checking traffic for my drive to meet a friend for dinner - it's not looking good.  I don't know how people with long commutes do it every day.

KD, I'm 21 miles and it's my longest commute ever.  It bites.

But, I do get to check this place out tonight http://www.montelucia.com/ (where the friend is staying).  Now I'm starting to worry they'll take one look at my very undesigner clothes and not let me in.  :)

Hola ladies! I'm hanging out while H cooks dinner. (Just grilling some chicken boobs for salad.) COLLEGE HOCKEY TONIGHT!! It's the first round of playoffs and we're #1, so we're playing #12. Hopefully that means it'll be an easy win.

Am I the only one who had a super easy commute home? I love Friday 'traffic' here.

If I get on the highway it's 35 minutes (feels like an hour), but my GPS lets me know when there is a delay. So when I take the back roads it's more like 50.

I think it takes me about 5 minutes to get to work. So there are some good things that come with living in a small town.
  • Options
    Girlie that place looks beautiful!

If there's a delay in my commute, I'm screwed - there are no alternate routes for me to take.  One highway in/out of my town.  We actually got stuck (at home thankfully) because a gas tanker overturned and shut down the highway.  Normally not a big deal but we missed a friends wedding because of it.

[QUOTE]My GPS also tells me if there's a delay but it's never bad enough to re-route.  Even if there's an accident it doesn't take too long to get past it.
