It's humorous that you honestly think you're the only one smart enough to know what the word means.  I know what it means and I think it fits your particular brand of stupidity very well.

And betrothed, I'm disgusted with most of the comments that you have posted. I don't think I've ever read such judgmental comments in my life. I'm so lucky that the girls I speak to on theknot are nothing like you...I would've never come on here for ADVICE if I would've encountered a big a bitch as you. I genuinely feel awful for your children or your future children, and I think it would be irresponsible of YOU not to invest in their future therapy sessions starting now. Well, that doesn't surprise me. You think a lot of things are humorous that are actually pretty lame.
  • I think it's humorous that you pick and choose what questions to respond to. I've asked you what teacher has 7000 posts that you were referring to, and who brought up the military, other than you?

  • To answer the OP:
I am planning a very nice wedding. However, if my uncle shows up in his nice overalls with a sports jacket over it, it won't be the end of the world. In fact, I won't care at all. That's just part of who he is, and I want him to be comfortable. I told him that exact thing on the phone last night.

At least its the new overalls.

My point is, treat your guests as the people they are, and not as props. They are who they are, and you need to accept them if they are going to be your family too. Its ok to be miffed if there are boobs and buns hanging out, especially in a church or at another religious ceremony, but it is certainly not a reflection on you. The only people that will end up looking bad are the ones that are dressed inappropriately. If they don't want to look bad, they will dress appropriately. Period.
